£100 in Freebets from

£50 in Freebets from
Sunderlands!
This is a UK site giving out five Freebets at £10 each. See their
Special
Offers page for details. Also, Sunderlands has a great deal for First
Scorer bets - if your choice scores in the first 15 minutes then they pay out double the
odds. Experienced gamblers will know that this is a great deal.
Freebet strategies -
There are two kinds of Freebets - UK
ones (usually up to about £25) and US ones (up to $1000). The difference
is the US ones have a catch.
If anyone
wants to do US sites email me - you
can make a lot of money out of US Freebets but the catch means you need to
complete the "rollover". Go to the
sportsbetting page for some US sites to try.
Back to UK Freebets - There are two
kinds - stake return and no-stake return. Stake return bets are easy - just
treat them as a normal bet but watch for small print like "must be on Football"
or "must be at odds greater than evens".
Now for no-stake-return. You only
get winnings from this kind of freebet and the original stake is forfeited.
There are two ways to handle them -
You can just bet them in which case
don't bet on a 1/10 shot or you will only get a quid back for your a £10 freebet.
There may be T&Cs prohibiting this anyway.
The other way is to hedge (or Arb)
them. This is to guarantee a profit. Say you get a £10 freebet from
Paddypower.
You bet it on a 3/1 shot. You then go to
Betfair or another site and lay the bet (i.e. bet against it at 1/3). You
need a calculator to work out how much to lay, but in this example you bet
£22.50 at 1/3 and you get £7.5 winnings making £30, so if your Freebet wins you
get £30 and if it loses you get £30, and you bet £22.50 so your guaranteed
profit from a £10 freebet is £7.50.
For a tenner most people just bet it
but for the bigger US Freebets you Arb them. Its up to you. Myself, I arb all
of them but thats because I am used to the sums.
A few other things -
Always read the T&Cs. Bet rules
change sometimes.
If you are going to Arb Freebets - do the second bet on another site - they may
cancel the bet if you do both bets on the same site.
For arbing you dont need to use
Betfair to lay - instead you can choose a sport that only has 2 outcomes
(football has 3 possible outcomes) like Boxing or NFL football or something.
That way you just bet on the other side of the bet at the other site - no need
to do all that laying stuff with Betfair.
