Casino strategy is easy - you need
to clear a WR so you can cash out the bonus money they gave
you.
In casinos most professional gamblers play
Blackjack or video poker. Roulette isn't allowed to qualify for
bonus money, and slot machines have a high House Advantage (HA). This strategy
page concentrates on BJ.
Blackjack Stategy
Blackjack has low HA but to maximise
winnings you should use what is called "perfect play", by
using the guide below. It takes some getting used to
but it can be memorised, alternatively have this
page open while you are playing. Stick to the table - it was developed by
mathematicians using computer simulations. Now
and then you will lose but in the long run using this table
along with the casino bonus money you will profit.

House
Advantage - HA
We know that using "perfect" play along with the casino bonus is profitable (its
called EV+by professional gamblers). When you play (for example) Blackjack, the house advantage (HA) is about 0.5% if you
use the above "perfect" play. To reach the WR you need to play many times over and over again.
Some you win, some you lose, but over (say) 1000 hands, you
will get close to the 0.5%. Put it this way -
imagine your WR is $1000 to clear a $50 bonus (i.e. a
20x bonus). If you bet $1 dollar 1000
times over you would end up with close to $995 (ie you lose 0.5% or $5).
Some you win, some you lose, but
over (say) 1000 hands, you will get close to the 0.5%.
However if you bet the whole $1000 on one hand (not recommended!!) you
will either end up with $2000 or zero: that is highly risky. The way to play EV+
is to do it the first way - bet $1 a thousand times over,
you will end up close to $995, and you will be able to
cash-in
the casino bonus, say $50, giving you a profit of $45.
So to maximise
your chances of winning bet low stakes and repeat until you hit the WR then
stop. One problem with this is time - you
may need to increase the stakes if you want to clear the bonus quickly but if you have
plenty time to play then keep the stakes low and grind it out. Typically
in BJ you can play about 300 hands per hour, so if the WR to clear a bonus is
$1000, you would need to play for over 3 hours to get it at $1 per hand, so in
that case you may want to go to $2 per hand to get finished in time. A way round this is to use "Autoplay" which means you can
program the software to play for you! You can watch TV while the computer plays on its own. Autoplay is common for
slots, but less common for Blackjack.
